Event 3: Leadership Summit - July 27
The CEEL Leadership Summit boasts a small cohort of school leaders and consultants dedicated to sparking radical change from within. This action-oriented group will attend the General Symposium; based on its outcomes, we will design and propose changes to our systems that are essential.
Presenters, sessions, and events include:
- Thomas Guskey on what administrators need to know about grading
- Jennie Chang Wathall on designing schools with 21st-century math programs
- Jenny Gillet on what school leaders should know about the future of curriculum and assessment at organizations like the IB
- Bernajean Porter on systems work and future searches for education
- Lara Davis and Diana Falchuk on leadership's role in racial and social justice
- Q&A time with these experts to address specific needs
- Creating an action plan specific to your school's needs
- Networking with a cohort of select, engaged and innovative school leaders from around the world
Initial invitations will go out on January 2, 2018, but interested school leaders (administrators, instructional coaches, department heads, etc.) are encouraged to apply at any time (click on the link below to a 1-minute application).

*Should you register for one or more events and need to cancel, you can get a 50% refund up through May 31. From June 1 onward, there are no refunds for cancellations.
**Please note: we reserve the right to cancel the Symposium, in part or full, prior to May 31. In case of cancellation, we will refund all registration fees for cancelled events.
